The project application of PuRPOSE has been accepted by the French Erasmus+ Agency!
The application had been submitted to the appreciation of the Agency at the beginning of 2019 by the University of Montpellier as coordinator in collaboration with the University of Siegen, the Limerick Institute of Technology, and Réseau Entreprendre.
PuRPOSE aims at the valorisation of research in the field of management and targets Master’s students to foster successful applications for PhDs. During 3 years (from October 2019 to August 2022), the partners will develop a methodology to study the representation of research and PhD by the students, in order to further provide tailor-made information and training. The project relies on a strong collaboration, both between universities in different European countries, and between the academia and the private sector. On the long-term, the partners aim to extend the collaboration to a larger number of universities and to create a European network around research and PhD opportunities for students in the field of management.
PuRPOSE will benefit from a grant of 214 722 EUR from the French Erasmus+ Agency to implement these activities. As a first step of the collaboration, the University of Montpellier will host the kick-off meeting, for the partners to get to know each other and to agree on an implementation plan for the project activities.
